Know that I am dedicated to life-long learning and I have a keen interest in anything that will speed up my learning ability and increase the depth of my understanding. In my research into accelerated learning I have come across some wonderful material, most of it based on the eastern European super-learning researcher Georgi Lorzanov. You can go into any local library and a number of online sites that will give you much of this information.
Having read the sales page, I had great hopes that the “5 Minute Learning Machine” would give me some new insight into increasing my learning ability and this was simply not the case. All that I found in the E-book was a bunch of re-hashed simple techniques that I have read about a thousand times over. You would be far better off dropping by your local library or doing a little research on the net.
While the link to the product above is my affiliate link, I simply believe that you should save your money and pass on this product. In fact, you can find some quite good information on accelerated learning and speed reading in the Wikipedia.
Ever since I first reviewed “The Complete Guide to Genius,” I have received numerous questions about the use and application of this IQ system. I thought that now would be a good time post some of those questions and answers as I have recently been looking at several other IQ programs.
None of the questions have been about if the system works or not. When I started using the system, I did receive a measurable increase on standardized IQ tests and I have received many reports from people who have used the system with very positive results. In looking at other IQ systems, I have found that the Complete Guide is the most comprehensive of all that I have checked out thus far. The only thing that I feel is lacking in this system is that they could have also included some information on accelerated learning.
Getting into the program, the first method of increasing IQ is by increasing your power of concentration. It has been proven that people with a high IQ also have a high power of concentration. A person with an average IQ can typically only hold absolute concentration for about 2 seconds and people with a high IQ will be able to hold absolute concentration for about 8 to 10 seconds. The Pseudo PK technique taught in this system can give you a very quick increase of up to 15 points on an IQ test. There are other methods of increasing your ability to concentrate. In fact, one of the best books on increasing your power of concentration is Dumont’s 100-year-old “The Power of Concentration” which you can download by right-clicking here and “save-as”. No registration required-just download and enjoy. This ancient text is one of the best works that I have seen on the power of concentration.
The Complete Guide to Genius teaches a number of IQ increasing techniques including: proper breathing, nutrition, underwater swimming and the one where I get the most questions: Image Streaming. This is the single most powerful technique in increasing your hidden genius. In fact, in Wenger and Poe’s book, The Einstein Factor available from Barnes and Noble, this is basically the total subject matter of the book.
Most people ask if it is really necessary to record your Image Stream and wonder why they just can’t remember the stream or why is it not recommended to write out your Image Stream. In image streaming, you let your mind wander in what is essentially a meditative state and vividly tape record your thought stream for later analysis. Firstly, you tape record the Image Stream because you will simply not remember enough detail of the images to be able to fully analyze and understand what your subconscious mind is trying to tell you. It is in this analysis that you put meaning to the stream and to the genius hidden from your logical mind. While Stream of Consciousness writing has been around for some time, the act of writing itself is simply too slow to vividly record the detail of an image stream and slows down the whole process of an Image Stream.
The Image Streaming process is the single most important part of the IQ increasing system as it releases much of the genius that you have hidden in your subconscious. The more often that you use this technique, the easier it will become and with continued use, it will result in the greatest increase in your genius abilities.
I recently reviews Sheele’s Drop Into Genius who teaches a similar technique called Eidetic Imagery. Although I consider the Complete Guide to Genius to be far more complete and effective, I did like the fact that Sheele did devote a chapter to Accelerated Learning which I find extremely important in our ever changing information landscape. As Drop Into Genius is rather inexpensive, I consider is a nice supplement to The Complete Guide.
The only negative comments that I have had about “Guide to Genius” is that some have said that they just don’t have time to spend on the program and will take it up on a later date. Time is our only true limitation. We can either spend our time on getting by and on worthless pursuits or we can invest our time in creating a life of purpose. I, for one, am glad that I invested and continue to invest the time to bring out my hidden genius. We all have the same number of neurons, it is just how we use them that makes a difference.

John Assaraf the famed guru from “The Secret” has gotten aboard the Mind Movies 2.0 program and his interview was put online this morning. Even if you have no interest at all in the Mind Movies thing, Assaraf’s interview is certainly worth viewing. At this point, I am actually getting tired of all of the emails that I am receiving about MMs new version. I would say that 9 out of 10 emails that I am receiving are promos for Mind Movies. It is certainly far better than the original program but the way that it is being promoted, you would think that it is akin to the “Second Coming.”
Anyway to see the Assaraf interview, Click Here. and yes, I am an affiliate to MM2.0 and just so that you know, although I have seen an excellent demo of MM2.0, it is unlikely that I will get the program. I am a former photojournalist so I have a very complete library of photos, I also have an extensive collection of both classical music and Alan Tutt’s entrainment audios and using Power Point is second nature to me and of course, as I run a site dedicated to affirmations, I have an extensive collection of affirmations which I have written. For me, MM2.0 would just be redundant.
When the first version of Mind Movies came out, I was not impressed. Anyone who was reasonably competent with MS Power Point could do the same thing without the extra cost. However, Mind Movies 2.0 is a whole new story. I started to get interested when I saw that many of the bit gurus were getting involved with the new program-Bob Proctor, John Assaraf, Dr. Joe Rubino and many more. Then I got the chance to see a display of the new system and I am impressed. It has a complete library of photos, music and excellently written affirmations that you can just drag and drop to create your personalized Mind Movie. Not only that, you can also add your own sound track or your own video to complete your Mind Movie.
Of course, you know how strongly I believe in affirmations. Mind Movies 2.0 adds a whole new dimension to the affirmation process. I have always taught that you should involve as many of your senses as possible-speak it, hear it, see it and any other senses you can involve. Remember how I took that Mercedes AMG out for a test drive. Mind Movies, especially for those who have trouble with visualization, seems to be an important step forward.
Bottom line-I am an affiliate of the new Mind Movies 2.0 unlike the previous version. In all honesty, when I first saw the promo for Drop Into Genius, I did not expect very much . I mean really-what can you expect from a $15 dollar E-book. However, I am a sucker for any book with the word genius in the title. Boy, was I in for a shock. This has been one of the most interesting reads that I have had in a long time and it introduced me to a number of new concepts that I had not considered previously.
Scheele in his introduction starts out with the premise that all children are born with genius potential but that through overy protective parenting and ultimately entry into our educational system which he considers archaic, we destroy that innate genius that we are all born with. He makes a very strong case for a completely different approach.
Each of the 8 chapters starts with a guided imagery session to help you understand the material on a deeper level than just our logical mind. In chapter one, he shakes the whole foundation of our current use of the visualization process and introduces the idea of Eidetic Imagery which he feels will plumb the depths of the mind and is far more effective. It is obvious from the start that he considers visualization as we use it only locks us into a forgone conclusion and does not allow our natural genius to surface. Personally, I found this approach to be quite intriguing as I have always felt that there were some problems with visualization as it has been taught to us.
Although there are some areas that the book gets into that I consider somewhat questionable-reading by the palm of your hand and photo-reading with which I have had some experience and am still not a believer. The only other problem I found with the book is that it did have quite a few links to other paid products with which I am not affiliated.
Bottom line-Drop Into Genius is definitely worth investing your time and to top it off, 20% of the proceeds of the book go to charity and you also receive an MP3 of Paul explaining some of the concepts.
On price alone (it is so cheap) I almost did not consider this book and that would have been a big loss on my part.

Recently I have had a number of readers contact me and since they came in email and not as comments on the blog, I thought everyone would like to hear my answers. Joshua wrote in with a positive response to TRN Inter-Talk and Alvin wrote in asking me to compare Inner Talk to TRNs Affirmation Audios.
In response, while I found Inner Talk-an NLP program to be very powerful, I still prefer TRN’s Affirmation audios. I believe them to be the best commercial affirmation audios available and I continue to use them. Home-made audios using the TRN format are even more powerful.
Nick wrote in to tell me that he was using Subliminal MP3 audios and was having a profound effect from these subliminal audios. Personally I am only seeing a small effect from these audios but that is likely because I have impaired hearing in the upper ranges and this may be causing me some difficulty. While I have not reviewed their products, it might be worth looking at.
Finally, My rant for today. I am getting really tired of the hype in the personal development market. I write this blog because I want to help people and I really don’t like the hype that I am seeing. The latest thing to irritate me is the way that Steve Jones is promoting his Paraliminal audios. He had gotten a trademark for the word “Paraliminal” but, he makes it sound like he has gotten a patent for his process. A trademark is nothing more than a license to have exclusive rights to use a specific word-it does not mean that the process that it represents has in anyway received a patent. He makes it sound much more important than it is. I happen to like Steve’s Paramininal products and I do use them on a fairly regular basis but, I just don’t like the hype.
Currently, I am working very hard on reviewing a number of new programs and will get them to you as soon as I can.
Although I affiliate market, I don’t feel that I have to compete with anyone and when another person produces something of true beauty, I am going to bring it to you even if it is not something I am marketing. Al Diaz of Ilumine Ao has produced a beautiful inspirational video which is in exact alignment with my heart of hearts and my life purpose. If he can live a rich full live, what is my excuse? This wonderful man with all of the physical limitations is a true inspiration. I see what he has accomplished and I have to seriously question what I have done with my own life.
Most of this post is an update of some recently reviewed programs but, I am also going to talk about a point of irritation at the end of this post. Ironically, I received Aine Benton’s Intuition Zone newsletterand her headline was:”The Best Way to Predict the Future.” Even before opening the newsletter, the answer popped immediately into my head-The best way to predict the future is to create it. I do enjoy reading her newsletter.
“The One Command”, I am continuing to work with. I am not sure how it works but every time I use it, I seem to be getting results-new opportunities to improve my website and intuitions that must be coming from very deep in my soul. Seems like a rather simple program but I think the use of going into the Theta brainwave state is really what make it work or at least seem to work for me.
Subliminal MP3s-As you know I have always been extremely skeptical of subliminal audios but since their offer of 3 full subliminal albums to try their system out, I took it one step further and got a couple of their other programs which I have been listening to on an almost constant basis since my original post. I don’t know if it is just placebo effect or something more profound but, I have actually noticed some substantial changes in my daily life. I will continue to report back to you on these audios as I get more use out of them.
Drop Into Genius-Reclaim Your Brilliance is a new book from Paul Scheele. I have just started working with this incredibly inexpensive E-book but thus far, it is really changing my views of our genius ability and it also makes a very strong case for using visualization in a completely new and very provocative manner. I will have the review up shortly and from first impressions, this could be a life changer. I can hardly believe that I am most likely going to give a rave review for a product that only cost $12-usd. I will never get wealthy selling a 12 dollar book but the contents of this book might help me create true wealth.
Now for my rant of the day-Liar, Liar-Pants on Fire
I have been getting Kristen Howe’s Go Big newsletter and have not been very impressed with her work. As of today, I have unsubscribed from her newsletter. She may think that it is just good marketing but to me, I do not like to be lied to. She tells the story of how important she thinks The Secret of Deliberate Creation is (I do agree on that point) but she goes on to tell us how she contacted Dr. Anthony and he set up a special deal just for her subscribers-get the digital version of TSDC for 60% off of the price of the physical version. That is simply a bald-face lie. Dr. Anthony has always offered the digital version at 60% off for everyone not just Kristen’s subscribers.
