I must tell you right off the start but I just did a nice little video review of Andy Shaw’s books and while I would like to show you that video, I cannot as Windows 7 has conveniently buried somewhere that I cannot find it. I really enjoyed Windows XP however, my new computer came with Windows 7 and am going to have to learn how to use it. The meantime I’m going to do a written review here of Andy’s books.
The two books in question are Creating A Bug Free Mind and Using A Bug Free Mind. If you are at all familiar with Shaw, you know that he is both widely loved and equally hated in his home country of the UK. Seems he went bankrupt a couple of years ago and some think that the bankruptcy was just a cover to hide his illegal activities. Obviously, this is not the case and he has made a come-back from that low point in his life to once again become a multi-millionaire. Because of all of the troubles that he went through, he decided to write what he considers the ultimate self help books. His contention is that most of the self help material that is available contains good information but that most self help gurus simply do not understand how to teach the material properly.
I cannot completely disagree with him. With the exception of Alan Tutt and his Embraces and his Choose to Believe programs, most of the programs for wealth, success and self fulfillment are not taught in a manner which is effective. Andy certainly does take a different method of teaching his material and for me, at least, I found it to be effective. Among other things, his books (real books not ebooks) are massive-combined more than 850 pages. To say that he uses repetition as a method of teaching is an understatement. He quite literally beats you over the head with his works.
Some may also find his work to be offensive. If you find this when you read his books, then you should think twice as it is highly likely that he has found one of the bugs in your mind and you will need to seriously reconsider how you are using your mind. Shaw’s basic premise is that our ego or as he call it our “nutter” has taken control of our mind and will never let us be successful unless we take back control.
All in all, I am finding it to be a refreshing read but I will not go so far as to say you should run out and purchase nearly $90US worth of books without a closer look. Andy has provided a number of samples of his work which will either convince you that his teachings will work for you or will be wasted on you. I mean, really after all, how many people are actually going to plow through 850 pages. He does have audio versions of his books but, I think you should check out all of his free samples prior to any purchase.
Here are his free offers:
If you get through all of that, then you might consider his books. I am personally enjoying them and believe them to be effective.
I am an affiliate of Bug Free but, affiliate should note that you cannot purchase these books through your own affiliate link for unlike most affiliate programs, you are going to have to pay full price. It has been my experience that most affiliate programs will allow you to purchase at a discount as someone who has actually used the material can better promote the material. Obviously, Shaw does not agree.
